Bristol Wood Recycling Project

BWRP - latest news

We’re looking for an organised, friendly, creative and energetic individual to join our Workshop Team. This is a great opportunity for an individual to develop a wide range of skills associated with working in a busy wood workshop as well as cooperatively running a social enterprise. If you can balance the requirements of our bespoke workshop customers with the engagement of our volunteers, and design and produce consistent joinery products from our recycled timber, then we’d love to hear from you.
All the details you’ll need to apply for the role can be found in the application pack, which you can download here

Whilst our shop remains closed to the public, our workshop are still taking - and making - bespoke orders.

Whether you’re looking for shelving, a home working desk space, or something more unusual, please contact the workshop team at and be sure to include your telephone number.

Our current lead time is 2-3 weeks from confirmation.

Whilst the lockdown continues, our wood shop will remain closed.

We will be running a skeleton staff to fulfil the commitments we’ve already made to our customers. This includes collecting waste wood from customer sites and completing orders customers have already made.

Shop - pause to remote sales/deliveries:

We will pause our remote order and delivery service for a minimum of two weeks. If you’ve already ordered from us, we'll deliver to you as agreed. If you've emailed us, but not had a response yet, we’ll hold on to your email and get in touch as soon as we have a better idea of when we’ll be able to resume this service.

Our workshop team are still taking and producing orders.  As usual, please send any enquiries to (making sure to include your phone number!).

Our collections service is continuing where safe to do so. Service requests and new enquiries should be sent to

It's finally here! The service you've all been waiting for! We can now deliver in and around the Bristol area for £35/hour (minimum charge of £35). Now you can come down and buy all the wood you need without having to worry about how to get it home. We've got you covered. For more information, pop in to our shop, or email our team on the button below.

About us

Bristol Wood Recycling Project is a social enterprise working to benefit community and environment, transforming waste into shared assets through our inclusive volunteering program. Our operation self-
finances by providing a competitive wood waste collection service, timber yard for trade and public, and a wood workshop in which volunteers learn to produce bespoke furniture to order.
