Workshop Staffing Update (September 2012)
Following on from the sad departure of our Workshop Manager Mike Smith in late June 2012 due to health reasons, the BWRP Board has decided at its September 2012 meeting to confirm his temporary replacement Neil Ferguson as our new Workshop Manager. Meanwhile, we have extended the temp contract for Celine, our Temporary Workshop Assistant, until mid-January 2013, when we will review the situation. Thanks for your custom. |

Gift Products In Stock - 2012 prices!
Quality tealight holders made from reclaimed beech and oak. Cut, sanded & treated. Can hold from 1 to 5 tealights (or small bottles or plants). Cost from £3.00 to £10.00, includes the tealights.
Rustic decorative tealight holders made from a variety of wood, some have been varnished, cost £12.00 to £18.00.
Picture frames from sturdy recycled 3x1 inch construction timber, in 2 sizes of 8 x 8 inch and 10 x 8 inch. Cost £10.00 and £12.00.
Wall clocks made with varnished scaffold-plank off-cuts and recycled metal nails, screws etc. Clock hands are battery-powered. Cost £14.00.
Lovely chopping boards, also made from reclaimed beech or oak. Cut & sanded to various sizes. Cost from £3.00 to £24.00.
Bird Boxes in 2 types, one for blue tits (25mm entry hole), made from reclaimed cedar wood, product dimensions are 18 x 18 x 12cm approx. Priced at £10.00 each.

Garden Table and Bench Set
Forget those 'one season wonder' MDF garden tables you see elsewhere, this kiddie is BUILT TO LAST!
Made from reclaimed saffold boards, with help from volunteers who gain skills, satisfaction and a boost to their confidence. Cross hatched, double braced supports on both table and benches. Durable, safe, sustainable.
Sanded but untreated to allow for your own choice of finish.
Dimensions: Table: 183cm x 66cm x 75.5cm high
Bench: 183cm x 21cm x 43.5cm high
Table Top Price:
£20 per metre
Example: 1.5m x 63cm (3 boards wide) = £90.00
Example: 2.0m x 84cm (4 boards wide) = £160.00
Frames and Legs:
Standard 4 square legs with frame - multiply the cost of the table top by 1.5 and add £25.00

Cable Reel Table
Attractively finished reclaimed industrial cable reel, perfect for an outdoor/ rustic indoor table. 1100mm diameter, wrapped in reclaimed sisal rope, for a ship-shape and Bristol fashion look!

Bookcases / Shelving
Attractive reclaimed scaffold board bookcase. This design builds on the industrial history of the board to give a rustic look to a sturdy, solid design. Open construction with a plinth. The item is sanded to a very fine finish, and left untreated so you can add your own varnish, oil, stain, wax etc.
All cases bespoke made to your specifications, and can be made deeper using biscuit joinery.
Bookcase Price:
£20 per metre
To work out the price just add up the length of both sides and then the total length of your shelves.
Small and Medium Planters
Ideal as windowboxes or long flowerpots for the patio, our planters are made from reclaimed studwork wood. Sanded on the outside, with holes in a reclaimed ply or timber base for drainage.
Prices: Small (54cm x 18cm x 16cm) - £10 each
Medium (73cm x 18cm x 16cm) - £12 each
Large Planters
Our best seller. These monsters are 60cm x 60cm x 48cm approx, ideal for root veg, small trees, thirsty herbs etc.etc. Super-solid construction from reclaimed scaffold boards, with solid timber base. Come in a variety of finishes, including with steel scaffold straps for extra durability and a decorative finish.
Price: our standard 60 x 60 x 48cm planters cost £35.00 (unsanded, no straps) / £40.00 (unsanded, with straps) / £50.00 (sanded, with straps).
Pricing other planters - we can make planters from scaffold planks to most sizes, just tell us your requirements. We then price them as follows:
1. For the base (bottom) layer we work out the total length of wood needed and multiply it by £10.00 For example a planter measuring 2M x 1M and one layer deep, uses a total of 6M of wood, and costs £60.00.
For each additional layer of wood we multiply the length of wood used by £5.00.
2. If you want the outer surface of the planter sanded, we add 50% to the cost, so the 2m x 1m planter would now cost £90.00
3. If you would like steel scaffold straps added to the corners, they cost £1.50 each.
Raised Beds
Raised bed prices:
£6 per metre for the first layer
£4 per metre for each additional layer
