Our cutting services include chop saw and rail saw cuts with which we can cut a wide variety of timbers. We endeavour to cut whilst you wait but when this isn't possible, you can leave it with us and we will contact you as soon as it's done.  

 

Cross cutting:

For simple chop saw crosscuts, we charge £5 for the first cut and set up, then £1 per cut thereafter. Our maximum width for this cutting is 300mm. For any orders where there are a large number of cuts or heavy pieces to maneuver, we then charge by time (£60/hour).

 

Rail Saw cuts:

The rail saw is used to cut wide timbers and sheet material. We charge a £10 set up for rip cuts and £2 thereafter. Large or complicated orders will be charged at the hourly rate. 

 

If you are in need of anything a little more complicated such as angles, stencils, multiple cuts or planing, we may be able to offer a workshop service which is charged at £60/ hour that can accommodate this. We recommend coming in to discuss these requests as the workshop team will need to see the timber and evaluate the work.
