For the core of the business to remain self funding
Bristol Wood Recycling Project started on a small budget to kick-start the enterprise, and ever since then it has been self funding. Currently we generate all of our own income from our collections of wood waste, and sales of timber and products from recycled wood in the Wood Shop. The income we generate enables us to operate as a social enterprise, and provides a robust business model that can withstand the hazards of shortfalls in funding. Although we may pursue funding for individual projects, it is an objective for the core of the business to remain self funding through the collections and sales of timber.
